Advanced Hearing Care of New Mexico has been in business since 1992 serving the areas of Alamogordo, Ruidoso, Las Cruces and (coming soon) Roswell. The Founders are Timothy Frost MD and Kelly Frost AuD.

Timothy W. Frost, MD, FACS
Board Certified Otolaryngologist
Co-Owner, Alamogordo Ear, Nose & Throat/Advanced Hearing Care
Dr. Frost was a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Duke University with an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry. He completed medical school in 1985 at Washington University in St. Louis where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha academic honor society. Upon completion of a six-year residency at the University of Illinois – Chicago Eye and Ear Infirmary, he completed a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with J. Reagan Thomas, MD, past president of the American Academy of Otolaryngology. He is board certified in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery as well as in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Frost has been in Alamogordo since 1993.

Kelly Macauley Frost, AuD, CCC-A

Dr. Kelly Frost was a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with an undergraduate degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders. She completed her Master’s Degree in Audiology in 1983 at the 1st ranked audiology program at the University of Iowa under the guidance of two prestigious hearing aid researchers & clinicians, Dr. David Hawkins and Dr. Ruth Bentler. Afterward, she practiced clinical audiology at Washington University – St. Louis in the Department of Otolaryngology under the renowned audiologists, Dr. Margo Skinner and Dr. Michael Valente. Prior to moving to New Mexico she was a clinical supervisor and lecturer at Northwestern University in Chicago for five years. Dr. Frost earned her Doctor of Audiology degree in 2005 through the Arizona School for Health Sciences in Mesa, Arizona. Dr. Kelly Frost has practiced audiology and hearing instrument dispensing in Alamogordo since 1993.

Abigayle M. Callender, AuD, CCC-A
Board Certified Audiologist
Dr. Abigayle Callender graduated with honors from Eastern New Mexico University in Portales with an undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders. She completed her Doctor of Audiology degree from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. Dr. Callender has practiced audiology and hearing instrument dispensing at Advanced Hearing Care since 2003. Dr. Callender is the lead audiologist at Advanced Hearing Care in Las Cruces. She is active in the Mesilla Valley Rotary. Dr. Callender has developed outreach programs to all major retirement centers in the Mesilla Valley, to allow easier access for quality hearing healthcare.

Michele Cannon, AuD, CCC-A

Dr. Michele Cannon graduated with honors from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana with an undergraduate degree in Speech and Hearing Science. She completed her Doctor of Audiology degree at the University of Iowa under the direction of one of the premier hearing researchers and clinicians, Dr. Ruth Bentler. Dr. Cannon completed her externship in audiology at Advanced Hearing Care under Dr. Kelly Frost. Dr. Cannon has been instrumental in creating a strong positive relationship with the program for hearing-impaired children in the Alamogordo Public School system. She is involved in the selection and fitting of special hearing devices for classroom use and in implementing an educational curriculum for 4th graders on ear and hearing protection.

Michi S. Diller, AuD, CCC-A

Dr. Michi Diller graduated from the University of Iowa with an undergraduate degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences. She completed her Doctor of Audiology degree at the University of Iowa under the direction of one of the premier hearing aid researchers and clinicians, Dr. Ruth Bentler. Dr. Diller completed her externship in audiology at Advanced Hearing Care under Dr. Kelly Frost.

Christina Pina, AuD, CCC-A
Board Certified Audiologist
Dr. Christina Pina graduated with honors from New Mexico State University with an undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders. She completed her Doctor of Audiology degree, at one the premier training programs, the University of Arizona in Tucson. Dr. Piña completed her externship training at Colorado West Otolaryngology, PC in Grand Junction, CO, the chief provider of ENT and audiology care for all of Western Colorado. Dr. Piña has received additional training and expertise in the evaluation of patients with vestibular and balance problems. She, along with Dr. Tim Frost, have developed the premier balance testing center in Alamogordo. She also has received expert training for helping patients with severe tinnitus.
